Urine Drug Screen

This screening test detects the presence of common drugs of abuse in a urine sample. It is an orientation (screening) test, intended to indicate likely recent exposure rather than to provide a legally definitive forensic result, which would require confirmatory analysis. People use it for personal reassurance, family or workplace-related reasons, or to support a conversation with a healthcare professional. MZ-Biochem provides the test on a self-pay basis with no referral and same-site sample collection. As with any screening assay, results can be affected by timing, hydration and certain medications, so a positive screen should be confirmed and a result discussed with a physician where it matters clinically. The sample is provided at the collection room during opening hours.
