Blood is drawn at the collection room in a few minutes on a walk-in basis, and results are reported by the accredited laboratory.

The Basic Prevention panel is MZ-Biochem's entry-level self-payer screen, intended as a periodic baseline rather than a diagnosis of any single condition. It bundles routine clinical-chemistry markers that together give a broad picture of how the body's core systems are functioning: glucose for carbohydrate metabolism, a lipid overview for cardiovascular risk, transaminases for liver status, creatinine and urea for kidney function, and an inflammatory marker. Because the laboratory is accredited to ČSN EN ISO 15189 and runs modern colorimetric, turbidimetric and electrochemiluminescence platforms, the same analysers used for hospital and GP samples process the self-pay tests. The self-pay route means no referral is needed and payment is made directly at the collection point in Uherský Brod or Uherské Hradiště. Most people use a general prevention screen annually, or more often when tracking the effect of a lifestyle change, and review borderline or out-of-range results with their own physician. A 12-hour fast (water permitted) is recommended for accurate glucose and lipid values.
