Type
Microneedling
Duration
1 hour
Medical microneedling using an adjustable-depth needle applicator (0.25–2.5 mm) to create thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin, stimulating the body's own collagen and elastin production. Laser Esthetic's dermatology team treats wrinkles, sagging skin, large pores, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, acne scars and stretch marks. Results are visible after the first session and accumulate over three to four treatments. A hyaluronic acid or whitening serum can be infused immediately post-needling for enhanced absorption.
Microneedling — also called collagen induction therapy — uses a motorised applicator fitted with a head of very fine needles to create a controlled pattern of micro-injuries in the skin at precisely calibrated depths. The depth is adjustable from 0.25 mm (superficial epidermis, minimal downtime, pore refinement) to 2.5 mm (deep dermis, maximum collagen induction, requires anaesthetic cream). These micro-channels trigger a wound-healing cascade: platelet activation, growth factor release and fibroblast stimulation culminate in new collagen and elastin fibre formation over four to six weeks. At Laser Esthetic, microneedling is performed by the dermatology team and is offered for the face, neck, décolletage and hands. It is effective for a wide range of skin concerns: fine-to-moderate wrinkles and loss of elasticity, enlarged pores, uneven pigmentation, mild rosacea, post-acne scarring, surgical scars and stretch marks. Because it works by mechanical stimulation rather than heat, it is a safe option for most skin types, including those where laser resurfacing carries a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. For 2.5 mm depth treatments, topical anaesthetic cream is applied 30–45 minutes before the session to ensure comfort. The session itself takes approximately one hour for the full face. Immediately after needling, the micro-channels are open and absorb topical actives at significantly higher rates than normal skin — the clinic offers a hyaluronic acid serum or a whitening/brightening serum as add-ons (300 Kč per ml) to capitalise on this transient absorption window. Post-treatment, the skin appears red and feels warm — similar to mild sunburn — for one to seven days depending on needle depth. SPF 30+ is required for at least one week. Results are visible after the first session; three to four sessions at four-to-six-week intervals are recommended for full correction. A 10% discount applies to pre-paid multi-session packages.
