Injection Mesotherapy — Deep Skin Rejuvenation

Mesotherapy at Kožní Keclíková involves the micro-injection of pure hyaluronic acid or an active HA cocktail (containing peptides and vitamins) into the dermis or epidermis of the face, neck, décolleté, or hands. Two delivery methods are offered: injection mesotherapy, where the product is placed into the dermal layer using a fine needle for a deeper, longer-lasting effect; and roller mesotherapy (1.0 mm depth), which treats the superficial epidermis and partial dermis for a lighter refresh with shorter effect duration. Both methods stimulate new collagen production, deep skin hydration, smoothing, and rejuvenation. The clinic recommends a minimum course of five sessions at one-to-two-week intervals.

Mesotherapy is a technique originating in French aesthetic medicine that delivers active compounds directly into the skin layer where they have their primary biological effect — the dermis — bypassing the limited penetration achievable with topical products. At Kožní Keclíková, two mesotherapy formats are offered, distinguished by injection depth, product choice, and duration of benefit. Injection mesotherapy (injekční mezoterapie) targets the mid-dermis, delivering product to the fibroblast-rich layer where collagen and elastin are synthesised. The physician draws the selected product into syringes and injects it at multiple points across the treatment area using a series of shallow needle punctures. The product may be pure non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which provides immediate hydration and a water-retention effect; or an HA cocktail that also contains bioactive peptides (such as oligopeptides targeting specific collagen receptors) and vitamins (typically a B-complex, vitamin C, and/or antioxidants), chosen based on the patient's skin condition. The dermal trauma from the injections alone adds a secondary collagen-induction benefit similar to microneedling. The combined effect — product delivery plus mechanical stimulation — produces results lasting 9–12 months from a completed course, making injection mesotherapy one of the longer-lasting non-invasive rejuvenation options at the clinic. Roller mesotherapy (rollerová mezoterapie, 1.0 mm depth) delivers the same product range but into the epidermis and very superficial dermis using a 1.0 mm microneedle roller. The roller is passed over the treatment area after product is applied to the skin surface, creating micro-channels through which the HA or cocktail penetrates. This method is less stimulating to the deep dermis but is better tolerated by patients with needle sensitivity and produces visible skin smoothing and brightening. Effect duration is approximately 6 months per course. For both methods, the recommended initial course is a minimum of five sessions at 1–2 week intervals. The cumulative benefit builds progressively: the collagen response develops over several weeks, and the hydration reservoir established in the dermis is replenished with each session before it is absorbed. After a completed course, a single maintenance session every four to six months sustains the result. Treatment areas include the face (full or zones), neck, décolleté, and backs of hands. The physician selects the most appropriate HA concentration and cocktail formulation for each area and patient, accounting for skin thickness, degree of sun damage, and the patient's chief concern. Temporary redness, mild swelling, and fine papules at injection sites are expected for 24–48 hours; bruising is uncommon but possible.
