Dermal Fillers — Wrinkle Filling, Lip Augmentation and Facial Contouring

Injectable hyaluronic acid filler treatments performed exclusively by physicians at Kožní Keclíková (Medincentrum). The clinic works with three premium HA brands — Juvederm by Allergan, Restylane, and Princess — to address wrinkle smoothing, nasolabial fold softening, lip modelling and augmentation, cheekbone and jaw contouring, nose reshaping, chin projection, and acne scar filling. Unlike botulinum toxin (which relaxes muscles), HA fillers physically restore volume in tissue that has deflated with age or weight loss. Results appear immediately; the HA also stimulates the patient's own collagen synthesis, so the skin is actively firmed beyond what the filler volume alone provides. Minimum duration of effect is 1.5 years.

Dermal filler treatments at Kožní Keclíková are restricted to licensed physicians — an explicit policy of the clinic — because the vascular anatomy of the face demands medical training to ensure safe product placement and the ability to manage rare but serious complications if they arise. The clinic uses three well-studied hyaluronic acid products: Juvederm (Allergan), supplied by Neomed s.r.o.; Restylane (Galderma), supplied by Aesthe-med s.r.o.; and Princess (CROMA-PHARMA / Medaprex). Each product range includes formulations of varying viscosity and elasticity, allowing the physician to select a product optimised for superficial fine lines, deep folds, or structural volumisation. The consultation precedes every injection session. The physician reviews the patient's facial anatomy, discusses the changes they want to achieve, and maps the treatment areas. For wrinkle smoothing (výplně), relatively fluid HA formulations are injected superficially into or just beneath the dermal layer at nasolabial folds, marionette lines, forehead lines, or chin crease. For lip augmentation and modelling (modelace rtů), the product is deposited along the vermilion border and into the lip body to improve projection, symmetry, and hydration. Structural contouring of the cheekbones, jawline, nose, or chin (modelace kontur) uses denser, more cohesive HA formulations placed at or near the periosteum for precise architectural reshaping — a technique that requires accurate knowledge of facial anatomy to avoid inadvertent injection near vessels. Acne scar filling is a specific application in which thin HA is used to elevate atrophic (boxcar or rolling) scars from beneath, partially or fully levelling them with the surrounding skin surface. Multiple treatment points are required in a single session; results are most durable in non-mobile skin areas. The hyaluronic acid in all these products is cross-linked (unlike the non-cross-linked HA used in skinbooster treatments), which slows its degradation and prolongs the volumetric result. The clinic states a minimum effect duration of 1.5 years, which is consistent with the latest generation of cohesive HA gels used by Juvederm and Restylane. In the first weeks after treatment, the HA also triggers a fibroblast response that produces new type I collagen, so the skin surrounding the filler gradually becomes firmer and more elastic — an active rejuvenation effect beyond passive volume replacement.
