Imagerie Médicale des Deux Rives

Imagerie Médicale des Deux Rives is the dedicated medical imaging centre of Clinique Rhéna, the largest private hospital in Strasbourg and the surrounding Alsace region. Located at 8 rue François Épailly, a few hundred metres from the Rhine and directly on the Strasbourg tram network, the centre occupies a purpose-built outpatient imaging facility alongside the Rhéna inpatient building. The centre covers the full spectrum of diagnostic imaging: CT scanning (tomodensitométrie), coronary CT angiography (coroscanner), coronary calcium scoring, MRI, conventional radiography, Doppler ultrasound, arthro-scanner, mammography, biopsies, and spinal as well as joint infiltration procedures. The team includes 44 radiologists who rotate across the Rhéna imaging platform. Strasbourg sits at the geographic heart of the Upper Rhine region. The city is easily reachable from across the Rhine valley and from the German state of Baden-Württemberg, making the centre a practical option for cross-border patients from Offenburg, Freiburg, Kehl, and Basel. Appointments are bookable directly via Doctolib without the need for a French GP referral; a prescription from a home-country physician or telemedicine consultation is sufficient to access services. As a Sector 1 (conventionné) practice, the centre charges French national health insurance tariffs. International and self-pay patients pay these amounts directly at the time of examination — substantially below typical private German or Swiss radiology fees for the same modalities. The facility opens from 7:00 to 20:00 on weekdays.
