The single-person infrared sauna at House of Salt provides a private 45-minute session using infrared light panels that heat the body directly through radiant energy. Unlike traditional Finnish saunas that heat the air to 80-100°C, infrared saunas typically operate at 45-65°C, making the experience more tolerable for individuals who find high-temperature saunas uncomfortable.

The physiological response to infrared sauna includes elevated core body temperature, increased heart rate (comparable to moderate exercise), vasodilation, and profuse sweating. Research has explored potential benefits including improved cardiovascular markers, reduced muscle soreness, enhanced recovery from exercise, mood improvement through endorphin release, and support for detoxification pathways through sweating.

The single-person format at House of Salt provides a private, uninterrupted experience. At 300 DKK for 45 minutes, it is priced identically to the salt therapy session and can be booked as a standalone treatment or combined with other modalities — particularly HBOT, salt therapy, or hydromassage — for a multi-treatment visit.
