IPL photorejuvenation at Formositas uses the BTL EXILITE III intense pulsed light platform with crystal cooling to treat sun damage, hyperpigmentation, broken capillaries and overall skin tone in one session — the full-face maximum-scope treatment combines photorejuvenation with vascular and pigment correction for 5,500 Kč. Smaller targeted areas, photoepilation and acne protocols are also available.
About this treatment
Intense pulsed light delivers broad-spectrum light pulses that are selectively absorbed by melanin (pigment spots), haemoglobin (broken capillaries and diffuse redness) and dermal water, simultaneously fading discolouration, collapsing visible vessels and stimulating collagen for an evened, brighter complexion. The BTL EXILITE III used at Formositas adds crystal-cooled applicators for comfort and a biostimulatory laser component to support healing.
The flagship session is the maximum-scope full face (5,500 Kč), covering photorejuvenation plus targeted vascular and pigment work in a single visit. Smaller zones — individual pigment spots, cheek capillaries, or photoepilation areas — are priced from 500 Kč by pulse count, and a dedicated acne protocol (900 Kč) uses light to reduce inflammation and the bacteria implicated in breakouts.
IPL works best on untanned skin, so the clinic schedules courses in autumn and winter; strict SPF protection is required afterwards and saunas should be avoided for a week. Typical courses run 2–4 sessions several weeks apart depending on the indication. IPL is not suitable for currently tanned or very dark skin, during pregnancy, or for clients with epilepsy — the free consultation screens for these.
