Biostimulation Laser Therapy

Type

Laser Therapy (HILT)

Duration

20 min

Low-level biostimulation laser therapy delivered on an Astar PhysioGo 400C with dual red and infrared probes. The combined wavelengths reach the skin at different depths and are associated with biostimulatory, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, supporting tissue regeneration and wound healing. At Derma Blansko it is used to support recovery in conditions such as acne and inflamed skin, burns, localised eczema, scars and slow-healing wounds, and as an adjunct in hair loss. The treatment is painless and is sold as a course of ten sessions.

Biostimulation laser, also known as low-level laser therapy, uses light at carefully chosen wavelengths to stimulate cellular activity rather than to cut or ablate tissue. Derma Blansko delivers it on an Astar PhysioGo 400C equipped with dual laser probes that combine red and infrared light: the red wavelength acts more superficially while the infrared penetrates more deeply, so the pairing allows the practitioner to treat tissue at different depths in a single session. The light energy is associated with biostimulatory effects on the cells, alongside analgesic (pain-easing) and anti-inflammatory actions, which together may support faster tissue regeneration and wound healing. In the clinic the laser is applied directly over the area being treated for a short, comfortable session; it is painless, requires no anaesthetic and the manufacturer and clinic report no documented adverse effects, so there is no downtime. It is offered to support a wide range of skin and wound problems: acne and other inflammatory skin conditions, burns, localised eczema, scars, abrasions, resorption of bruising (haematoma), and chronic or slow-healing wounds such as diabetic, pressure and leg ulcers, as well as an adjunctive role in hair loss and alopecia. Because biostimulation works cumulatively, it is sold and recommended as a course of ten treatments rather than a one-off, with the dermatovenerologist setting the schedule according to the condition being treated. As with any therapeutic laser, suitability is reviewed first, and it is used alongside — not instead of — appropriate medical management of the underlying condition.
