About this treatment
Lip fillers use a soft, cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel to add volume and definition to the lips. The treatment can subtly increase fullness, sharpen the vermillion border, define the cupid's bow, correct minor asymmetry or restore volume to lips that have thinned with age — the goal at a physician-led clinic being a natural, balanced result rather than an overfilled look.
At DENIFE in Karlovy Vary the treatment begins with a consultation in which MUDr. Hana Plachá assesses the lips and surrounding area and agrees the desired shape and volume. Local anaesthesia is applied and the hyaluronic acid is introduced through a single entry point with a fine needle or a blunt cannula, then carefully shaped by hand. Preparation required
