Cryospot — Local Cryotherapy

Cryospot is CryoPoint's local cryotherapy treatment, using liquid nitrogen to deliver a focused stream of cold air at temperatures reaching -150°C to a specific area of the body. Unlike the whole-body Eisbox which uses electric cooling, Cryospot uses nitrogen because the extremely low temperatures achievable with liquid nitrogen are beneficial for targeted treatment of deep tissue. The treatment is applied to the affected area for approximately 3 minutes. The concentrated cold rapidly numbs pain receptors in the targeted zone, reduces local inflammation, and triggers the area-specific vasoconstriction-vasodilation cycle that promotes tissue repair. Common treatment areas include knees, shoulders, elbows, ankles, the lower back, and the neck. Cryospot is frequently used by athletes for sport-specific recovery — treating a sore knee or shoulder after training — and by individuals managing chronic conditions such as tendinitis, bursitis, or localised arthritis. It can be booked as a standalone session or combined with whole-body cryotherapy for a comprehensive approach: the Eisbox provides systemic benefits while Cryospot focuses additional cold therapy on the primary problem area. The treatment requires no special preparation. Clients expose the target area and remain comfortable throughout the brief session. There is no meaningful downtime, and clients can return to normal activity immediately after.
