The crown is secured to the implant and the bite checked and adjusted so it functions comfortably alongside your other teeth. A well-made implant crown restores the ability to bite and chew on that side, supports clear speech and fills the visible gap, while being cleaned much like a natural tooth with brushing and flossing around it. Because it is fixed, there is no removable plate to manage. The dentist explains the maintenance needed to keep the implant and its crown healthy over the long term, including regular hygiene visits.
