A first appointment to examine your teeth and gums, review any concerns and agree what treatment is needed. At AS-Dent Studio the visit can be combined with digital diagnostics — a panoramic X-ray or cone-beam CT scan — so the dentist can plan more complex work such as implants or root canal treatment accurately. It is the recommended starting point for new patients, including those travelling from across the German or Czech border who want a clear plan and quote before committing.
About this treatment
A dental examination at AS-Dent Studio is a dedicated appointment to assess the current state of your teeth, gums and bite and to map out any treatment you may need. The dentist checks for decay, cracked or worn teeth, failing fillings, gum health and signs of infection, and discusses your priorities — whether that is pain relief, restoring a missing tooth, or a longer-term plan combining several treatments.
Where helpful, the examination is paired with the clinic's in-house imaging: a panoramic X-ray for an overview of all the teeth and jaws, or a targeted cone-beam CT scan when precise three-dimensional information is needed for implants, difficult extractions or endodontics.
