About this treatment
Liposuction is the most established surgical method for reshaping body contours by permanently removing fat cells from areas where they accumulate disproportionately — typically the abdomen, hips, outer and inner thighs, knees, calves, upper arms and under the chin. Because the number of fat cells in a treated area is permanently reduced, results are long-lasting provided weight remains stable.
Technique
AESTEA uses the super-wet technique. The target area is first infiltrated with a medicated solution in a volume approximately equal to the fat to be removed; the solution constricts small blood vessels and loosens fat tissue, which is then aspirated through small cannulas via incisions of a few millimetres.
