ZIM Fünf Höfe is a private internal medicine practice located within Munich's Fünf Höfe luxury shopping arcade on Theatinerstrasse, steps from the Bavarian State Opera. The clinic brings together eight specialist physicians covering cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, diabetology, and general internal medicine under one roof. Their Check-Up Basis programme delivers a modular executive health screening spanning one to two days, combining detailed consultation with physical examination, resting ECG, spirometry, ultrasound of the upper abdomen and thyroid, and a comprehensive laboratory panel covering blood count, electrolytes, lipids, liver and kidney function, thyroid markers, HbA1c, and trace elements. The modular structure allows patients to add focused assessments — cardiac evaluation with echocardiography and stress ECG, hormone profiling, autoimmune screening, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, osteoporosis assessment via DXA scan, tumour markers, or a dedicated 50+ package — to tailor the checkup to individual risk profiles. The clinic serves exclusively private patients and self-payers; statutory health insurance (GKV) is not accepted. Medical Director Prof. Dr. Petra-Maria Schumm-Draeger leads the practice, bringing decades of academic and clinical experience in endocrinology and diabetology. Consultations are conducted in German with English available on request.
