Zest Clinic's women's health panel offers a comprehensive blood-based evaluation of the key hormones, metabolic markers, and nutritional factors that underpin female health at every life stage — from the reproductive years through perimenopause and beyond. The panel is suitable for women experiencing hormonal symptoms, those interested in proactive health monitoring, or those preparing for pregnancy. The hormonal assessment includes oestradiol (E2), progesterone, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinising hormone (LH), anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH, an indicator of ovarian reserve), and testosterone (as low female testosterone is a common but under-recognised cause of fatigue and reduced libido). Prolactin is measured to exclude pituitary causes of cycle irregularities. For women with PCOS concerns, the panel supports accurate clinical assessment alongside ultrasound. Thyroid function is a cornerstone of the women's panel, as thyroid disorders are significantly more common in women and present with symptoms — fatigue, weight changes, hair loss, mood fluctuations — that overlap heavily with hormonal and nutritional deficiencies. The panel includes TSH, free T3, and free T4 as standard.
