Zentrum für Ästhetische Medizin München — trading as Schönheitsklinik Dr. Funk — is among the oldest aesthetic surgery and medicine clinics in Germany, established in 1976 and based at Frau-Holle-Straße 32 in Munich's Waldperlach district. The practice is led by Dr. Dr. med. Wolfgang Funk, a rare dual specialist holding both Facharzt qualifications in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and in Oral, Maxillofacial, and Facial Surgery. Dr. Funk trained under the legendary Prof. Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro from 1984 to 1996 and is a member of DGÄPC (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ästhetisch-Plastische Chirurgie) and the Premium Medical Circle. The clinic is staffed by around 30 professionals including OR nurses, anaesthesiologists, and regenerative medicine specialists, with satellite consultation centres in Vienna, Graz, Zürich, and Marbella. The non-surgical menu includes botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid fillers, Silhouette Soft and PDO thread lifts, PRP vampire lifting, facial mesotherapy, microneedling, stem cell and exosome treatments, and Profhilo skin remodelling. The surgical programme spans the proprietary PRESTO Deep Plane Facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, breast procedures, liposuction, and abdominoplasty.
