Root canal treatment (Wurzelbehandlung) saves a tooth whose inner pulp has become infected or inflamed by cleaning out the canals, disinfecting them and sealing them, so the tooth can be kept rather than extracted. Left untreated this can cause significant pain and abscess formation. BerlinBite does not publish a fixed price for root canal treatment (Wurzelbehandlung); the cost depends on the tooth (the number of canals) and the techniques used, and statutory or private insurance may cover part of it. The figure shown is indicative; an exact quote is given after diagnosis. A crown is often advised afterwards and is priced separately.
