A dental crown is a custom cap that restores a damaged, heavily filled or root-treated tooth, rebuilding its shape, strength and appearance. About this treatment
A crown is a tailor-made restoration that fits over the whole visible part of a tooth. It is used when a tooth is too broken down, cracked or heavily filled to be restored with a simple filling, or after root canal treatment when the remaining tooth needs protecting.
