After cleansing, the peel is applied for a set time and then neutralised or removed; you may feel tingling or warmth during the application. Depending on the strength, the skin can look pink afterwards and may flake or peel over the following days as it renews — lighter peels have little visible downtime, while stronger peels and programmes involve more.
