Lip Modelling (Hyaluronic Acid)

Lip modelling uses soft, cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler to enhance the lips' volume, shape and border definition while preserving natural movement and proportion. Treatment starts with a discussion of your goals — more hydration and a tidy border, a little extra volume, or correction of asymmetry — and the physician shapes the filler accordingly, often starting conservatively for first-time patients.

A strong topical anaesthetic is applied and the filler products also contain lidocaine, so the procedure is generally well tolerated. The gel is placed with a fine needle or cannula and shaped by hand; results are immediate, though lips commonly swell for 24 to 48 hours and small bruises can occur.
