PRP Therapy (Eigenblut / Vampir-Lifting)

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) facial therapy, known in German as Eigenblutbehandlung or Vampir-Lifting. A small blood sample is drawn and centrifuged to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma, which is then injected into the skin to release growth factors that may support collagen and elastin formation. Used for facial rejuvenation and often combined with microneedling for texture, pores, fine lines and scarring. Because only the body's own material is used, it is well tolerated with minimal downtime.

PRP therapy at Venus & Apoll uses Platelet-Rich Plasma derived from your own blood to encourage the skin's natural regeneration, a method also referred to as Eigenblutbehandlung or Vampir-Lifting. The session begins with a small blood draw; the sample is then spun in a centrifuge so that the platelet-rich plasma separates from the rest of the blood. This concentrated plasma is rich in growth factors which, once injected into the skin or applied alongside microneedling, are associated with stimulating cell renewal, collagen synthesis and elastin production. The clinic uses a gently prepared plasma that can be injected directly or combined with needling to additionally address concerns such as large pores, acne scars, burn scars and stretch marks. Because the treatment relies entirely on autologous (your own) material rather than toxins or synthetic fillers, it is regarded as a particularly natural anti-ageing approach with a low risk of reactions and minimal social downtime.
