V Lift (Patented Facelift)

The V Lift is a proprietary surgical technique created and patented by MUDr. Tomáš Ventruba and available exclusively at V CLINIC Brno. It combines a modified deep plane facelift with a comprehensive deep necklift, repositioning facial and neck structures in a vertical V-shaped movement through incisions under the chin, along the hairline, inside and behind the ears. Unlike standard facelifts, the V Lift addresses fat above and below the platysma muscle simultaneously, adjusts submandibular glands if enlarged, and refines neck musculature — all in a single 3.5-hour session. One night of post-operative monitoring is standard.

The V Lift represents the most advanced facelift offering at V CLINIC Brno — a technique MUDr. Tomáš Ventruba has spent years refining and has formally patented, making it exclusive to this clinic. The procedure builds on the deep plane facelift framework but extends it with a comprehensive neck correction as an integrated component rather than a separate add-on procedure. The surgical approach uses four incision points: a 3–4 cm incision under the chin, incisions along the anterior hairline, and incisions inside and behind the ears. Through these access points, MUDr. Ventruba repositions the deeper facial and neck structures in a vertical V-shaped trajectory — addressing the SMAS layer, removing excess fat deposits both above and below the platysma muscle, refining the submandibular glands when enlarged, and suturing the neck muscles to restore definition along the jawline and submental area. The result is a simultaneous improvement of the lower and mid face together with the neck, eliminating the visible 'disconnect' that can occur when face and neck are treated in separate procedures. The operation takes approximately 3.5 hours under local anaesthesia, local plus analgosedation, or general anaesthesia. Post-operatively, patients stay one night at the clinic; a Redon drain is removed at days 5–6 along with initial dressing changes, with the final suture removal at day 14.
