The BASIC panel (1,049 Kč) covers syphilis (Treponema pallidum antibody test — the treponemal-specific ELISA used in European laboratories), hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg — the most sensitive marker for active HBV infection), hepatitis C antibodies (HCV — detecting prior or ongoing exposure), and liver function markers (ALT, AST — assessing the hepatic impact of any active hepatitis). The PLUS panel (1,359 Kč) extends BASIC with HIV antibodies/antigen detection using a 4th generation antigen/antibody combination test — which detects both HIV p24 antigen (detectable approximately 2 weeks after exposure) and antibodies (detectable approximately 4 weeks after exposure).
