Shoulder MRI (1.5T)

1.5T MRI of a single shoulder covering rotator cuff, labrum, biceps tendon, and glenohumeral joint structures at 49,500 HUF.

The shoulder MRI at Újbuda Medical Center uses dedicated coils on the GE Creator 1.5T to evaluate the rotator cuff tendons (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis), glenoid labrum, long head of biceps tendon, and glenohumeral joint capsule. Sequences include coronal oblique, sagittal oblique, and axial planes. The radiologist reports on each rotator cuff tendon individually, grading tendinopathy, partial tears, and full-thickness tears with retraction measurement. Labral pathology including SLAP and Bankart lesions is documented. The acromioclavicular joint and subacromial space are assessed for impingement features. At 49,500 HUF for the native study, this is highly competitive for quality shoulder MRI in Budapest. Contrast-enhanced shoulder MRI at 88,000 HUF adds gadolinium for improved soft-tissue characterization when clinically indicated.
