The abdominal MRI at Újbuda Medical Center provides comprehensive evaluation of the solid abdominal organs using the GE Creator 1.5T scanner. The examination covers the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and adrenal glands using T1 and T2-weighted sequences with breath-hold techniques. At 49,500 HUF for the native study, this is among Budapest's most affordable abdominal MRI options. Contrast-enhanced abdominal MRI is available at 92,000 HUF for improved lesion characterization. A combined abdomen plus MRCP (biliary tract visualization) package at 94,000 HUF adds dedicated biliary sequences for gallstone disease, biliary strictures, and pancreaticobiliary anomalies. The native study is suitable for screening and follow-up of known findings, while the contrast-enhanced protocol is preferred for new liver lesion characterization and staging.
