Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

UEM Prague performs complete abdominoplasty — removing the apron of loose skin and fat from the abdomen and tightening separated abdominal muscles — for 58,000–68,000 Kč, with a smaller mini-tummy tuck of the lower abdominal fold from 30,000 Kč. The procedure is the standard correction after pregnancies or major weight loss when skin laxity cannot be fixed by exercise or liposuction alone. Roughly two days of hospitalization on the clinic's own ward, compression garments and complete aftercare are included in the published price.

Abdominoplasty corrects the two problems that no amount of training resolves: an overhanging fold of stretched, excess abdominal skin, and rectus diastasis — the separation of the paired abdominal muscles common after pregnancy. The complete operation removes the skin-fat apron between the navel and pubis, plicates (stitches together) the separated muscle edges to flatten and strengthen the core, repositions the navel, and closes with a long low transverse scar designed to hide beneath underwear. UEM's complete abdominoplasty (58,000–68,000 Kč) is performed under general anesthesia in 2–4 hours, followed by about two nights on the in-house inpatient ward — included, as are the compression garments worn for roughly six weeks, all dressings and medication, and corrective scar revision within 6–12 months if needed. The mini-abdominoplasty (30,000–40,000 Kč) addresses an isolated lower-abdominal skin fold without muscle repair or navel repositioning — a shorter operation with faster recovery, suitable for milder laxity below the navel. Recovery: patients walk slightly bent for the first week to protect the repair, return to desk work in 2–3 weeks, and resume core training from about 8 weeks. Results are long-lasting at stable weight; surgery should follow, not precede, completed family planning and major weight loss.
