About this treatment
A SMAS facelift addresses the structural causes of facial ageing — descent of the superficial musculo-aponeurotic system, jowls, loss of jawline definition and loose neck skin — rather than only tightening the surface. By lifting and fixing the SMAS layer, results look natural and typically last 8–12 years, far longer than skin-only lifts.
At UEM the complete face-and-neck SMAS lift is performed under general anesthesia (added at 6,000–12,000 Kč depending on duration) and takes roughly 2.5–4 hours.
