SMAS Facelift (Face and Neck)

UEM Prague performs the full SMAS facelift of the face and neck — repositioning the deeper muscular-aponeurotic layer rather than just pulling skin — for 50,000–58,000 Kč, with a less extensive mini facelift from 34,000 Kč. Surgery takes place in the clinic's own operating theatre in the Emauzy monastery complex, followed by 1–2 days on the on-site inpatient ward, which is included in the price together with all aftercare, medication and any corrective revision within a year. The operation is led by senior plastic surgeons with decades of practice, and the transparent published pricing is among the most competitive for a SMAS-level lift in Central Europe.

A SMAS facelift addresses the structural causes of facial ageing — descent of the superficial musculo-aponeurotic system, jowls, loss of jawline definition and loose neck skin — rather than only tightening the surface. By lifting and fixing the SMAS layer, results look natural and typically last 8–12 years, far longer than skin-only lifts. At UEM the complete face-and-neck SMAS lift is performed under general anesthesia (added at 6,000–12,000 Kč depending on duration) and takes roughly 2.5–4 hours. Incisions run within the hairline and around the ear, where mature scars are well concealed. Patients then recover on the clinic's own inpatient ward — usually one to two nights, included in the surgical price — with nursing care from the resident ward team. Drains and dressings are managed at the daily dressing clinic; sutures are removed progressively over 1–2 weeks.
