Plastic Surgery Consultation

Type

Consultation

Duration

30 min

A 500 Kč consultation with one of UEM's plastic surgeons is the entry point to any procedure at the institute — the surgeon examines your anatomy, discusses realistic options and risks, recommends the appropriate operation or non-surgical alternative, and quotes the exact final price including anesthesia. Consultations run on fixed weekday hours in Prague Emauzy with prim. MUDr. Záruba, MUDr. Němec, Ph.D. or MUDr. Singerová, and can also be arranged individually through reception; the fee is a fraction of typical Western consultation pricing.

UEM structures every patient journey around a personal surgeon consultation, and the clinic's own price-list guidance is explicit: published prices are orientational, and the precise cost of an operation, the necessary anesthesia type and what the price includes are determined at consultation. For 500 Kč you sit with the operating surgeon — not a sales coordinator — which is the meaningful difference between medical and commercial aesthetic-clinic models. What happens: the surgeon takes your history (health status, medications, previous surgery, expectations), examines the area concerned, and explains which procedures genuinely fit your anatomy — including telling you when a smaller intervention (or none) is the better answer. You receive the exact quote: surgical fee, anesthesia type and cost (local, analgosedation 2,000–10,000 Kč, or general 6,000–12,000 Kč), pre-operative examination requirements, expected hospitalization on the in-house ward, and the recovery timeline. UEM's surgery prices already include post-operative care, medication, compression garments and corrective touch-ups within 6–12 months, so the consultation quote is genuinely close to the final total. In Prague, fixed consultation slots run Monday through Friday with the institute's three plastic surgeons; outside these hours, reception arranges individual appointments. International patients can combine consultation scheduling with the clinic's discounted partner hotels (Hotel Moráň and the Dancing House hotel, both within 800 m). The consultation creates no obligation to book surgery.
