Professional teeth whitening lightens the natural shade of the teeth using a controlled bleaching gel. Tymodent offers in-surgery whitening activated by a Beyond Polus lamp for a faster result, a take-home option with custom-made trays, or a combination of both for the most thorough lightening. Internal whitening of a single darkened, root-treated tooth is also available. All options are listed individually on the clinic's price list.

Teeth whitening uses a peroxide-based gel to lighten staining and yellowing that has built up within the enamel and dentine over time. It is a cosmetic treatment that changes the colour of natural teeth; it does not lighten fillings, crowns or veneers, so these are assessed beforehand. At Tymodent there are three main routes. In-surgery whitening, at 1,500 zł, applies a stronger gel in the clinic and activates it with a Beyond Polus light for a noticeable change in a single appointment. Take-home whitening, at 1,200 zł, uses thin custom-made trays produced from impressions of your teeth, which you wear with a milder gel over a couple of weeks at home. The combined option, at 2,000 zł, pairs an in-surgery session with custom trays so results can be maximised and then topped up. For a single tooth that has darkened after root canal treatment, internal (non-vital) whitening is offered at 250–300 zł, working from inside the tooth. A clean and check-up is usually recommended first so the gel works evenly and the gums are healthy. Some people notice short-lived tooth sensitivity afterwards, which typically settles within a day or two. Results vary with the starting shade and lifestyle factors such as coffee, tea and smoking, and occasional maintenance with the trays helps keep the effect. The dentist will confirm which option suits your teeth and expectations at the assessment.
