The most commonly treated regions of the lower face are the nasolabial folds — the creases that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth — the marionette lines that run down towards the chin, and the finer perioral lines around the lips. Numbing cream is applied for comfort and most fillers also contain a local anaesthetic; the gel is placed with a fine needle or a blunt cannula and moulded into position. Results are visible straight away and continue to settle over one to two weeks as any initial swelling resolves, with mild tenderness or small bruises possible for a few days. The clinic prices each area individually at 700–1,000 zł depending on the product and the amount used. Because hyaluronic acid is gradually broken down by the body, the effect is temporary — typically lasting several months to around a year depending on the area — and can be maintained with repeat treatment. A key safety feature of hyaluronic acid is that it can be dissolved if an adjustment is ever needed. The physician reviews your suitability and any contraindications before treatment.
