TWC Implant & Dental Center offers two clinically supervised teeth whitening pathways. The in-clinic Zoom chairside whitening system uses a light-activated hydrogen peroxide gel applied directly to teeth by a dentist. The procedure is completed in a single appointment and can lighten teeth by several shades in under two hours, making it the fastest option for patients with upcoming events or time-sensitive goals. The home whitening kit provides custom-fitted trays moulded to the patient's teeth, supplied with professional-strength whitening gel for use over two to three weeks. The take-home route allows gradual, controlled whitening at the patient's own pace and is often preferred by those with tooth sensitivity. Both approaches are classified as cosmetic procedures in Singapore and are not Medisave-claimable or covered by standard dental insurance. Teeth whitening results are not permanent — typically lasting 12–24 months depending on diet and oral hygiene habits — and top-up treatments or home maintenance kits are recommended. A dental check-up is conducted before whitening to identify any contraindications such as active decay, cracked teeth, or gum disease. Patients with extensive existing crowns, veneers, or composite restorations should be aware that whitening agents do not change the colour of these prosthetic materials.
