PrimeSkin Laser Scar & Stretch Mark Treatment

PrimeSkin is TobePrime Clinic's fractional laser protocol for remodelling scars and stretch marks — suitable for acne scarring, scars after injuries and operations, and striae from pregnancy or weight change. The laser delivers micro-columns of energy into the scar tissue, breaking down rigid, disorganised collagen and stimulating fresh collagen to rebuild smoother, more elastic skin over a course of sessions. For scars unsuited to laser remodelling, surgical scar revision is available in-house.

Scars and stretch marks are both forms of disordered collagen: scars form when wound healing lays down dense, rigid fibres that differ in texture and colour from normal skin, while stretch marks (striae) are dermal tears from rapid stretching that heal as thin, crepey lines. Neither resolves on its own, but both respond to fractional laser remodelling. The PrimeSkin protocol delivers laser energy in a fractional pattern — thousands of microscopic treatment columns surrounded by untouched skin. Each column vaporises a core of scar tissue and triggers a controlled healing response; the surrounding intact skin supplies cells for rapid recovery. Over successive sessions, the disorganised scar collagen is progressively replaced with normally structured collagen and elastin, softening the scar's texture, flattening raised areas, filling depressed ones, and blending colour toward the surrounding skin. The clinic treats acne scarring (commonly on the face), post-traumatic and post-surgical scars, and stretch marks — including those after pregnancy — on the abdomen, hips, thighs, and breasts. Newer scars and red-phase striae respond fastest, but mature white scars and striae also improve with a longer course. Typical plans run 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, priced from 4,000 Kč per session by area size. Downtime per session is modest: redness and pinpoint crusting for several days, with SPF required on treated areas. Where excision is the better path — for example wide or contracted scars — the clinic offers surgical scar removal from 7,500 Kč.
