Injection lipolysis at TobePrime Clinic gently removes the double chin using a specialised fat-dissolving injectable solution. The active compound breaks down the membranes of localised fat cells beneath the chin; the released fat is then processed and cleared naturally by the body over the following weeks. It is a non-surgical alternative to liposuction for the submental zone, performed by a physician in a 30-minute visit.
About this treatment
Submental fullness — the double chin — is often resistant to diet and exercise because it is a genetically determined localised fat depot. Injection lipolysis addresses it directly: a fat-dissolving solution (typically based on deoxycholic acid, a compound the body itself uses to break down dietary fat) is injected in a precise grid across the submental fat pad. At TobePrime Clinic the treatment is performed by a physician after assessing whether the fullness is fat-driven (suitable for lipolysis) or skin-laxity-driven (better suited to the clinic's Endolift chin programme — the two are sometimes combined for optimal results). Because treated fat cells are permanently removed, results are long-lasting with stable body weight. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding or with certain metabolic and liver conditions, which the physician screens for at consultation.
