About this treatment
Effective acne care has two distinct phases that are often conflated: controlling the active disease, and repairing the textural damage it leaves. TobePrime Clinic's programme addresses both.
Active acne
is first assessed by a physician to establish type and severity — comedonal, inflammatory, or nodulocystic — and the drivers involved. Management can combine prescription topical or systemic therapy, professional skin treatments to clear congestion and calm inflammation, and laser/light-based sessions that reduce inflammatory activity and the bacteria involved. Treating active acne properly is also the most important scar-prevention measure.
