The programme begins with a clinical examination where a physician reviews personal and family medical history, measures vital signs, and performs a head-to-toe physical assessment. Blood testing spans the full spectrum of preventive medicine: a complete blood count (CBC) with differential, fasting plasma glucose and HbA1c for diabetes surveillance, a comprehensive lipid profile covering total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and cardiovascular risk ratios, liver function tests (ALT, AST, albumin, bilirubin, ALP), renal function (creatinine, urea, eGFR), and thyroid function (TSH and free T4).
