Women’s Health Panel
Duration

Comprehensive women's health and longevity assessment covering reproductive hormones, thyroid function, bone health, cardiovascular risk, and metabolic markers, designed to support women at every life stage from perimenopause to post-menopause.
Women's longevity is profoundly shaped by hormonal shifts across the reproductive lifespan — from the perimenopause transition through menopause and beyond. The Longevity GP's Women's Healthspan Assessment is designed to provide a complete picture of a woman's current hormonal status and its downstream effects on cardiovascular health, bone density, metabolic function, cognitive performance, and mood. The assessment begins with a detailed consultation exploring symptoms such as menstrual irregularity, hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, mood changes, sleep disruption, weight redistribution, and cognitive changes. This symptom mapping is paired with a comprehensive hormonal blood panel covering oestradiol, progesterone, FSH, LH, total and free testosterone, SHBG, DHEA-S, and prolactin. Thyroid function (TSH, free T3, free T4, anti-thyroid antibodies) is included, as thyroid dysfunction affects up to 20% of women and frequently overlaps with perimenopausal symptoms. Cardiometabolic risk — which rises sharply after menopause due to oestrogen loss — is assessed through lipid profiles, inflammatory markers (high-sensitivity CRP), fasting glucose, HbA1c, and insulin resistance testing where indicated. Bone health markers are evaluated, including Vitamin D, calcium, and bone resorption markers, given the accelerated bone loss that occurs in the years surrounding menopause. Nutritional biomarkers relevant to women's health — iron studies (ferritin, serum iron, TIBC), folate, B12, and magnesium — are assessed to identify deficiencies contributing to fatigue, hair loss, and poor cognitive function. Based on results, the clinic's doctors design a personalised management plan that may encompass evidence-based supplementation, lifestyle and nutritional guidance, and — where clinically appropriate and desired — discussion of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) options. Regular monitoring is recommended to adapt interventions as hormonal status evolves.
