Botulinum toxin (commonly known by the brand name Botox) and dermal fillers are the most widely performed injectable aesthetic treatments at The Aesthetic Studio. Botulinum toxin works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to targeted facial muscles, softening dynamic wrinkles such as frown lines between the brows, horizontal forehead lines, and crow's feet around the eyes. Results typically last three to six months, with repeat treatment maintaining and often prolonging the effect over time. Dermal fillers at The Aesthetic Studio use premium hyaluronic acid (HA) formulations to restore lost facial volume, define structural features, and correct deep folds such as nasolabial lines and marionette lines. HA fillers are also used for non-surgical rhinoplasty to raise the nose bridge or refine the tip, chin augmentation to improve facial proportions, and jawline contouring for a more defined lower face. The clinic also offers PDLLA + HA Glass Skin filler for superficial hydration and skin quality improvement. All injectable procedures are performed by Dr Jonathan Lee or Dr Koh Li Wen, both of whom are credentialled under Singapore's Ministry of Health Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee (APOC). A thorough pre-treatment facial assessment and consultation is conducted before any filler injection to map facial anatomy, identify appropriate injection sites, and determine safe volumes. Hyaluronidase enzyme is kept on hand to dissolve HA filler in the event of any vascular complication, reflecting the clinic's commitment to safe injection practice. Downtime is generally minimal — mild swelling and bruising may occur for two to five days post-treatment.
