The scan may help identify structural abnormalities, early-stage tumours, organ enlargement, vascular anomalies, and musculoskeletal conditions that would not be detected through blood tests or physical examination alone. It is important to note that screening MRI in asymptomatic individuals can occasionally identify incidental findings that require follow-up investigation, and not all findings are clinically significant. A radiologist reviews all images and provides a detailed report.
