Permanent laser hair reduction for the full legs using the Vectus diode laser — a large-spot, high-repetition-rate 810nm diode system with integrated Skintel melanin reader. Safe for a broad range of skin types with excellent speed and efficacy on leg hair.
The Vectus diode laser operates at 810nm — the optimal wavelength for targeting melanin in the hair follicle while minimising absorption by surrounding skin tissue. Its key technical advantage over older diode systems is the integrated Skintel melanin reader, which measures the patient's skin melanin index before treatment and automatically adjusts fluence recommendations to ensure maximum safety and efficacy across a wide range of skin tones (Fitzpatrick I through V). For full-leg hair removal, the large spot size of the Vectus (up to 23mm × 35mm — one of the largest footprints available in clinical diode lasers) means a full-leg treatment is completed in 20 to 30 minutes rather than the 45 to 60 minutes required by smaller-spot systems. The high repetition rate and built-in contact cooling further improve treatment comfort. At the point of contact, the sapphire-cooled tip cools the skin immediately before and after each pulse, protecting the epidermis while the laser energy propagates to the follicle bulge and bulb. Hair grows in cycles — anagen (active growth), catagen (transition), and telogen (resting) — and laser hair removal is only effective on follicles in the anagen phase, when melanin in the bulb is actively connected to the shaft. Typically 15 to 25% of leg hair follicles are in anagen at any given time, which explains why a course of 6 to 8 sessions at 4 to 6-week intervals is required to treat all follicles across their growth cycles. After a complete course, most patients achieve 70 to 90% permanent hair reduction, with fine residual hair requiring occasional maintenance sessions. At 600 PLN per session (approximately €140), Vectus laser hair removal for full legs at Tesoro Clinic is priced significantly below Polish capital city rates (typically 700–900 PLN in Warsaw or Kraków) and a fraction of equivalent German pricing (€200–€400). A full course of 8 sessions totals 4,800 PLN (approximately €1,130) — comparable to 3 sessions at a Berlin clinic.
