The consultation is conducted by Dr. Joshua Chong or Dr. Samuel Lee and covers a detailed review of the patient's medical history, family history of hair loss, hormonal factors, nutritional status, and lifestyle variables that may contribute to hair thinning. The clinical evaluation includes visual examination and, where indicated, trichoscopy or scalp dermoscopy to analyse hair shaft diameter, follicular unit density, and the pattern of loss. This allows the doctor to distinguish between androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, alopecia areata, and other forms of hair loss that require different treatment approaches. At the end of the consultation, patients receive a personalised treatment plan that may include a combination of PRP therapy, Regenera AMT, LLLT (Low-Level Laser Therapy), topical treatments, nutritional supplements, or a hair transplant recommendation where appropriate.
