Vampir-Lifting (PRP / Eigenbluttherapie)

The Vampir-Lifting is a PRP-based Eigenbluttherapie (autologous blood treatment) at Tauentzien Medical. About 15 ml of the patient's blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate platelet-rich plasma, which is then injected into the face, neck or décolletage. The growth factors in PRP are associated with the skin's own collagen and elastin renewal, and the treatment may support a fresher, firmer appearance and improvement of fine lines, dark under-eye circles, enlarged pores and uneven texture. A single session takes around 60–90 minutes.

Vampir-Lifting at Tauentzien Medical is the practice's signature regenerative facial treatment, using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) prepared from the patient's own blood. During the session a clinician draws approximately 15 ml of blood from a vein in the arm and processes it in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets, which carry growth factors. After a numbing cream is applied for comfort, the concentrated plasma is injected evenly into the targeted zones — most often the face, neck and décolletage — and it can be combined with medical microneedling or hyaluronic acid where appropriate. Because the plasma comes from the patient's own body, the approach avoids foreign substances. PRP's growth factors are associated with the skin's natural collagen and elastin regeneration, so the treatment is used to address fine lines and wrinkles, shadowed under-eye circles, rough or enlarged pores, scars, stretch marks and a general loss of firmness. Visible change develops gradually over the following weeks as the skin renews rather than appearing immediately. The whole appointment lasts roughly one to one-and-a-half hours. Mild swelling and redness are typical for two to three days, and most people are socially presentable again within one to two days. For non-physical work a break of two to three days is usually enough. To build and maintain results the practice recommends a course of three to five treatments spaced about four weeks apart, with effects that may last in the region of eighteen months.
