PRP Mesotherapy Face

Type

Mesotherapy

Duration

45 min

Autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) mesotherapy for facial rejuvenation, using the patient's own concentrated growth factors delivered via microinjection to stimulate collagen synthesis, accelerate tissue repair, and improve overall skin quality.

PRP mesotherapy is an autologous regenerative treatment that harnesses the patient's own blood-derived growth factors to stimulate skin renewal. The procedure begins with a venous blood draw of 10 to 20ml, which is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells and platelet-poor plasma. The resulting PRP concentrate contains 3 to 5 times the normal platelet concentration, along with a concentrated cocktail of growth factors including PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), TGF-beta (transforming growth factor), VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), and EGF (epidermal growth factor). These growth factors play specific roles in tissue repair and regeneration. PDGF stimulates fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis. TGF-beta promotes extracellular matrix production and tissue remodelling. VEGF enhances local blood supply by promoting new capillary formation (angiogenesis), improving nutrient delivery to the skin. EGF accelerates epidermal cell turnover and supports skin barrier function. When delivered directly into the dermis via mesotherapy technique, these factors act locally to trigger a coordinated regenerative response. The PRP is injected using a mesotherapy gun or manual micro-injection technique, delivering small aliquots of plasma into the papillary dermis across the entire face. The physician covers all facial zones systematically — forehead, temples, periorbital area, cheeks, nasolabial folds, perioral region, and jawline — ensuring even distribution of growth factors. Because the material is autologous (derived from the patient's own blood), there is no risk of allergic reaction or foreign-body response. Results develop gradually over 4 to 8 weeks as the growth factors stimulate new collagen synthesis and tissue regeneration. Patients typically notice improved skin luminosity and hydration within the first 2 weeks, with progressive textural improvement and firmness developing over the following months. A course of 3 sessions at 4-week intervals is recommended for optimal results, with maintenance sessions every 6 to 12 months.
