Nucleofill Strong is a polynucleotide-based injectable biostimulator that works at the cellular level to regenerate aged and damaged skin tissue. The active compound — highly purified polynucleotides (PN) derived from salmon DNA — provides a biological scaffold that stimulates fibroblast proliferation, promotes extracellular matrix synthesis, and enhances the skin's intrinsic repair mechanisms. This class of treatment operates through a fundamentally different pathway than hyaluronic acid fillers or toxins, targeting the biological machinery of skin ageing rather than its visible symptoms. Polynucleotides exert their regenerative effect through multiple mechanisms. They act as a reservoir of deoxyribonucleotides — the building blocks of DNA — which are taken up by fibroblasts and used to support cellular metabolism and protein synthesis. They also bind to purinergic receptors on cell surfaces, triggering intracellular signalling cascades that promote cell proliferation. Additionally, polynucleotides have demonstrated free-radical scavenging properties, protecting cells from oxidative stress that accelerates skin ageing. The Nucleofill Strong formulation is designed for areas with more advanced tissue degradation and visible ageing. The physician injects the product using a micro-bolus or linear retrograde technique, distributing it across the treatment area to create a biological regeneration zone within the dermis. Treatment areas commonly include the lower face, perioral region, neck, and decolletage — areas where thin skin and cumulative photodamage produce the most visible signs of ageing.
