The process begins with a smile aesthetic analysis and dietary assessment to identify staining causes and set realistic expectations. For home whitening, custom trays are fabricated in-house to ensure even gel coverage and minimise gum contact. Patients are provided with whitening gels in appropriate concentrations for their enamel condition, along with clear application instructions. A follow-up review is scheduled at 3–4 weeks to assess results and make any adjustments. Most patients can expect to achieve 8–10 shades of brightening. More challenging cases such as tetracycline-stained teeth may require extended treatment protocols. T32's dental team recommends maintenance touch-ups using the personalised home-whitening trays every 2–3 months to sustain results over time. Whitening is not recommended during pregnancy or for patients with significant existing restorations (crowns, veneers) that will not respond to bleaching agents — the clinic's pre-treatment assessment identifies these factors before commencing. The professional-grade gels used by T32 are not available over-the-counter, and the custom tray design ensures better results and greater comfort compared to generic whitening products.
