The Jsem fit (I Am Fit) package is designed as a concise health check for adults of all ages who want a quick but informative overview of their baseline health. It bridges the gap between the entry-level Základní prevence and the comprehensive age-stratified panels. The complete blood count with differential screens for anaemia, infection markers, and blood cell abnormalities. Fasting glucose identifies diabetes and pre-diabetic states. Liver enzymes (ALT, AST, GGT) detect hepatocellular damage — ALT elevations are extremely common in the general population due to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The lipid panel (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides) enables cardiovascular risk assessment. Creatinine provides kidney function screening via estimated glomerular filtration rate. The package adds inflammatory screening via C-reactive protein (CRP), which is elevated in acute infections, chronic inflammatory conditions, and cardiovascular disease. High-sensitivity CRP is increasingly recognised as an independent cardiovascular risk factor, with values above 3 mg/L associated with elevated risk even when cholesterol levels are normal.
