SYNLAB Czech's Kidney Function Test measures the core markers of kidney filtration and waste clearance — including creatinine (filtered by the kidneys) and urea (a protein-metabolism waste product) — to flag reduced function early. As a self-pay test it needs no referral: order on the e-shop, attend any SYNLAB collection point for a quick venous draw, and read results electronically once SYNLAB's accredited laboratories complete the analysis. Urine markers such as the albumin/creatinine ratio (ACR) are available separately for a more detailed assessment. The panel supports preventive monitoring and trend tracking, and is particularly worthwhile for people with diabetes, high blood pressure or long-term medication use.
