A panel assessing the body's iron stores — a common cause of fatigue, especially in women. Measures iron status markers to detect depletion or overload. Self-pay, no referral, results delivered electronically.

About this treatment

Iron deficiency is one of the most common nutritional causes of fatigue, low concentration and reduced exercise tolerance, and is especially frequent in menstruating women, vegetarians and endurance athletes. SYNLAB Czech's Iron Stores Panel assesses body iron status to detect depletion (or, less commonly, overload) before it becomes symptomatic anaemia.

The self-pay model removes the need for a referral: order on the e-shop, attend any SYNLAB collection point for a quick venous draw, and receive results electronically from SYNLAB's accredited laboratories. Related markers such as transferrin saturation (Fe+TIBC) can be added separately for a fuller assessment.

The panel supports preventive monitoring and is well suited to people investigating unexplained tiredness, planning iron supplementation, or tracking recovery from a known deficiency. Out-of-range results are best reviewed with a clinician.
