Facelift surgery by consultant plastic surgeon Dr Ng Siew Weng, offering full, mini, and endotine facelift options to reduce visible signs of ageing through skin repositioning, tissue tightening, and excess skin removal.
SWENG Plastic Surgery offers three facelift variants tailored to the degree of facial laxity and patient preference: a full facelift for comprehensive rejuvenation across the mid-face, jowls, and neck; a mini facelift for mild-to-moderate sagging with a shorter recovery; and an endotine facelift using absorbable fixation devices for a minimally invasive lift with natural-looking results. All procedures are performed under general anaesthesia by Dr Ng Siew Weng, a Ministry of Health–accredited consultant plastic surgeon who trained in South Korea under the Human Manpower Development Programme. Dr Ng's approach emphasises natural repositioning of soft tissues rather than skin tension alone, drawing on Korean surgical principles that prioritise harmonious facial contours. Facelift surgery at SWENG can be combined with complementary procedures such as double eyelid surgery, fat grafting to the face, or Erbium YAG laser resurfacing to address skin texture simultaneously. Surgery is performed as day surgery at the MOH-accredited ambulatory surgical centre at Farrer Park Medical Centre or Gleneagles Medical Centre. Recovery is typically 2–3 weeks for a full facelift and 1–2 weeks for mini or endotine variants. Sutures are removed at one week post-operatively, and post-operative care is managed in-house by Dr Ng's team. As this is a cosmetic procedure in Singapore, it is not Medisave or insurance claimable.
