Targeted laser and light treatments including Quattro Toning, Pigment Eraser, Forever21 BBL, and SmartX Lite to address melasma, sun spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone on Asian skin.

About this treatment

Pigmentation disorders are among the most common aesthetic concerns for patients with Asian skin, where higher baseline melanin content and UV sensitivity create a greater predisposition to conditions such as melasma, solar lentigines (sun spots), post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), and Hori's naevus. SW1 Clinic's pigmentation treatment programme combines multiple laser technologies with Fitzpatrick-safe protocols to address these concerns…

Quattro Toning uses a multi-wavelength Q-switched Nd:YAG laser that emits energy at multiple frequencies in rapid succession, targeting multiple pigment chromophores simultaneously. This technology is particularly effective for diffuse pigmentation and melasma, where single-wavelength lasers may not achieve even clearance. The gentle toning mode allows safe treatment of sensitive or reactive skin types at lower energies over more sessions.

Pigment Eraser is a targeted picosecond or Q-switched laser protocol designed for discrete lesion removal — solar lentigines, freckles, and coffee-spot birthmarks — with high accuracy and minimal surrounding tissue damage. Airbrush FX Light and Forever21 BBL use broad-spectrum light to address surface pigmentation, vascular lesions, and redness alongside skin texture concerns in a single treatment session.
